What happens when someone joins our service?

Mental Health Recovery Star User Guide cover - Copyright The Mental Health Providers Forum

The ‘service users’ at Community Meeting Point like to be referred to as ‘members’. When someone joins our service they meet with an identified worker and are encouraged to think about their goals and what they want to achieve through using our service.

We support our members to focus on their individual strengths and goals rather than their illness.

The Recovery Star also supports members to measure their progress and helps them identify any changes that need to be made to their individual plans. To find out more about the Recovery Star model please visit The Mental Health Providers Forum .
